Atlanta Community Policy
The Kindred of Atlanta do not have a lot of rules. Those we do have are in place for a reason.
Whether you understand that purpose or not, it is expected that you will respect our laws while
you are here. It is the responsibility of every member of the community to educate newcomers
on our ways and the consequences of breaking our laws. It is the responsibility of every single
vampire in town to cooperate with local authorities when one of our laws has been broken.
Refusal to abide by our customs and policies is our justification to ask you to leave.

TRADITIONS OF THE SILENCE (Our Interpretations)
Maintain the Masquerade.
Do not reveal your true nature to those not of the Blood.
Do not allow others to reveal their true nature to those not of the Blood.
NOTE: It is illegal to have an unregistered ghoul within the geographical boundaries of this community.
Should an incident occur, every vampire in the city at that time is expected to aid the community in sealing the breach.
To withhold aid when the community is dealing with a (potential) breach is a direct violation of the residency agreement.
The Custom of Domain
According to Old World customs, a vampire may claim a given area as his personal domain.
Within that domain, his word is law among the undead, and he can expect not to be challenged.
Within this community, greater perks come with greater service to the community as a whole.
Greater Domain
The Prince is the final arbiter of all issues arising within this community.
This includes the administration of all residency agreements and hunting contracts.
Personal Domain
Every member of the community has the inalienable right to a dedicated hunting grounds.
This right can not be revoked as long as the person remains in good standing within the community.
Register all Progeny.
Orphans or Unreleased Childer have no public rights or privileges other than those expressly granted by the Prince
NOTE: It is illegal to host an unregistered childe within the geographical boundaries of this community.
The Custom of Tutelage
It is the sole responsibility of the Sire to ensure the education of their childer, whether directly or through fosterage.
If the Sire is unable to properly educate the childe, the details of their fosterage will be overseen by the Prince
If the community must foster the childe, all temporal assets of the Sire and Childe are forfeit to provide for the needs of the childe.
If a childe that has been fostered to the community proves incapable of learning what is required to function in our society,
they will be given time to Sleep and reconsider their recalcitrance.
Our Harper hosts the annual winter cotillion at which eligible childer may be presented for their society debut.
Amaranth is forbidden.
To devour the heartsblood - the very soul - of another vampire is an unforgivable sin.
Do not think you can commit this crime and keep Atlanta as your home.
The Custom of Deference
The privilege of safe travel through the city of Atlanta is granted to any who will respect our laws and traditions.
The privilege of hospitality for two nights is granted to any who are free of The Hunt. After that time, your presence in the city
must be registered with and approved by the City Offices or you stand in violation of our laws.
Elysia are sacred.
Any sort of physical or mystical confrontation is strictly forbidden within any of our Elysia.
You are expected to leave any and all conflicts outside when you step inside these hallowed halls.
The Custom of Civility
Common courtesy is required when dealing with others so that the predator within is not tempted to violence.
Strict adherence to archaic customs and manners is not required, but respect in your dealings with others is.
